What your purchase permits
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, a purchase grants the purchaser a non-exclusive license to use the purchased conceptual design for one project at one site. You may keep backup copies, print working copies, and share the files privately with your builder, architect, engineer and permitting professionals solely for that project. Those professionals may adapt the concept for the project.
What is not permitted
You may not resell, sublicense, publicly upload, redistribute or offer the original files or adaptations as a competing plan product. A second site or repeated construction requires an additional license or written permission. Purchasing a package does not transfer ownership of the original design or its copyright.
Conceptual scope
The package is not stamped, engineered or universally permit-ready. Local professionals must assess and, where necessary, adapt the design for site conditions, structure, codes, energy requirements and permits before construction. The license does not constitute professional approval or permission to build.
Package-specific details
The listing identifies the files included. CAD files, engineering, custom modifications and professional services are included only if expressly listed. For bundles, the listing must state the number of designs and permitted projects. Contact us before purchasing if your intended use is unclear.
Your rights
These terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. The license supplied with your purchase applies to that purchase; later policy changes do not retroactively reduce it.
